Teaching Philosophy

This quote by Plutarch epitomize my teaching philosophy. Teaching is a profession that has the unique ability and privilege to educate our future generation. As a perspective educator I feel that as a teacher there is a huge responsibility to provide student’s with not only with knowledge but the skills to utilise their knowledge to the greatest extent. To have access to education is something that I truly value and is something that I believe is one of the few things that last for a life time. Education is a powerful tool within our society and as teachers we are the providers.
Schools are a diverse environment where students develop holistically. Education is not simply intellectual, but physical and social and as a prospective primary educator I strongly believe that school is all aspects of development through a variety of lesson and teaching strategies.

Teacher’s with vision can see beyond the appearance of an individual and find their true talents. To have the opportunity to find individuals strength and be rewarded by their enjoyments of learning is something I hope to experience as a teacher.
